Section 45-6-82 Additional Clerks.

(a) The Probate Judge of Bullock County shall have the absolute right to hire one additional clerk to serve in his or her office. The clerk shall be employed by and serve at the pleasure of the probate judge. The salary of this clerk shall be set by the County Commission of Bullock County in such amounts as they deem appropriate. (b) In addition to the above clerk, the probate judge may hire additional clerks to serve in his or her office and to serve at his or her pleasure; provided, however, that such additional clerks must be approved by the County Commission of Bullock County who shall set their salary from time to time. (c) All the clerks provided for above shall be paid in equal monthly payments from such funds in the county treasury as the county commission deems appropriate.
