Section 12-23-18 Waiver of Payment of Fees for Indigents; Revocation of Waiver; Community Service in Lieu of Payment.

An indigent person may ask the court to waive some or all fees. If a waiver is granted, it lasts only while the offender cannot pay and can be revoked if the offender later becomes able to pay. A judge may also order community service instead of payment.
