Section 2-26-52 Cooperation of Department of Agriculture and Industries and Agricultural Extension Service and Experiment Station of Auburn University.

The Department of Agriculture and Industries, the Agricultural Extension Service and the Agricultural Experiment Station of Auburn University are hereby authorized and directed to cooperate and work with such associations of farmers to accomplish the following purposes: (1) To implement an Alabama seed improvement program encompassing activities of foundation seed production, seed certification and labeling and quality control in the production of seed in order to make available for agriculture in this state high quality seed; (2) To conduct educational programs stressing the benefits of the use of seed of superior varieties and strains; and (3) To otherwise formulate and implement such programs as will insure that quality seed is properly produced, processed, certified and distributed in the state.
