Section 23-3-6 Elimination of Intersections at Grade.

The state or its subdivisions may eliminate at-grade crossings of controlled access facilities, and new at-grade crossings are generally prohibited unless the Director of Transportation approves them or allows a limited exception in sparsely populated areas.
