Section 45-37-122.08 Initial County Manager; Search Process.
The county commission must offer the initial county manager position to a candidate by June 1, 2011. If it cannot elect or hire a finalist, it may ask the search firm for a new finalist list or start a new search with another qualified firm, which extends the offer deadline by 120 days.
