Section 32-13-6 Deductions from Proceeds.

When a motor vehicle is sold, the seller must deduct reasonable sale-related costs from the proceeds and send the remaining balance to the county license plate issuing official for the county general fund, unless a qualifying Class 2 municipality sells the vehicles at public auction, in which case the proceeds are kept
