Section 45-37-123.81 Actuarial Methods.
The plan must be actuarially valued at least once every five years, and the board may choose the valuation date for plan assets. The actuary must use reasonable methods and assumptions, and the board must require certification about whether benefit rates are actuarially feasible and adequate.
