Section 45-8-82.21 Docket Fee; Solicitor’s Fund.
In certain cases in Calhoun County courts, a docket fee (called the solicitor’s fee) must be assessed, collected, and limited waiver is allowed only if the defendant proves inability to pay. The district attorney may spend the fee on law-enforcement and office expenses.
