Section 5-5A-10 Permit to Transact Business - Required.

Banks may not do banking business until they get a permit from the superintendent. A person acting for a newly incorporated bank before it is authorized can commit a misdemeanor and be fined. The superintendent may seek an injunction to stop the business.
