Section 27-12A-41 Assessments.
The commissioner must assess each covered insurer $200 per year. The assessment is due at least 30 days after prior written notice, accrues 6% annual interest after the due date, and nonpayment can lead to suspension or revocation of the insurer’s certificate of authority.
