Section 34-33A-13 Violations.
If the State Fire Marshal believes someone is violating the chapter, the Marshal or a deputy may issue a cease-and-desist order. Ignoring the order is a Class B misdemeanor, can trigger a civil penalty of up to $250 per day, and may lead to permit revocation.
