Section 22-21A-9 Withdrawal; Dissolution.
A member state may withdraw from the compact by law, but the withdrawal does not take effect until six months after notice is given. The withdrawing state remains liable for obligations incurred before withdrawal becomes effective, and the compact dissolves when only one member state remains.
