Section 20-2B-14 Exceptions.

(a) This chapter does not apply to an individual who is a subscriber to a service operated by a communication common carrier or communications service provider and who intercepts a communication on a telephone or similarly used device to which he or she subscribes. (b) This chapter does not apply to individuals who are members of the household of the subscriber who intercepts communications on a telephone or similarly used device in the home of the subscriber.
