Section 45-40-81.01 Juvenile Probation Services.

(a) In Lawrence County, in addition to all other costs and charges in district and juvenile court cases with the exception of small claims cases, a fee of five dollars ($5) shall be charged and collected by the clerk of the district court. The monies derived from the additional fees provided for by this section shall be paid into the county treasury and the fund shall be kept as a separate fund in the county treasury. The fund shall be known as the juvenile probation services fund and shall be used and expended by the district judge as provided in subsection (b). (b) The district judge is hereby authorized to requisition expenditures from the juvenile probation services fund for any and all expenses to be incurred in the administration of juvenile justice and juvenile probation services. The Treasurer of Lawrence County shall distribute monies from the fund upon requisition made to the treasurer by the district judge.
