Section 16-5-8.3 Legislative Intent.
Most two-year and four-year public higher-education institutions in Alabama are expected to comply with subsection (e) of Section 16-5-8 and its guidelines, unless exempt. If a covered institution fails to comply, the Alabama Commission on Higher Education must notify specified education bodies within 30 days.
