Section 45-2-200.01 Renewal by Mail.

(a) In Baldwin County, all licenses issued by the judge of probate or the license commissioner, including, but not limited to, those relating to motor vehicles, utility trailers, manufactured homes, and business licenses may be issued and renewed by mail. (b) The judge of probate or the license commissioner shall charge and collect a reasonable postage and handling fee to include the applicable U.S. postal rates plus a fifty cent ($.50) handling fee, which combined amount shall be rounded to the nearest dollar figure for the issuance or renewal by mail of any license as provided for by this section. (c) The previous collection of any mailing or issuance fees for the issuance or renewal of licenses by mail by the office of the judge of probate is hereby ratified and confirmed.
