Section 45-49-40.04 Apprentice Qualifications.
A person can get an apprentice barber license only if they meet the listed age, education, character, exam, medical certificate, and fee requirements. An apprentice may not practice barbering independently, but may do barbering acts under a licensed barber’s immediate supervision.
