Section 43-2-393 When Executor or Administrator May Give Note, Etc., to Extend or Settle Debt.

An executor or administrator may, with probate court authority on written application, give a note, bond, or bill to extend or settle certain estate debts. The heirs, devisees, distributees, or legatees must get 10 days’ notice of the application.
