Section 6-8-86 Judgment for Defendant - Compulsory Counterclaims.
On a compulsory counterclaim, if the defendant’s claim matches the plaintiff’s, judgment must be entered for the defendant; if it is greater and the plaintiff is liable, judgment must be entered against the plaintiff for the excess and all costs.
