If there are sufficient monies in the treasury to pay the warrants that have been returned and are drawing interest, the county treasurer shall give notice thereof by publication in a newspaper published in the county or by posting written notice at the courthouse door or on the county's website stating that the county treasurer is ready to pay the warrants. From the first publication or posting of the notice the warrants cease to draw interest. B. In the notice published in a newspaper, the county treasurer shall not publish the warrants in detail, but shall give notice that only county warrants presented for payment before the date stated in the notice are payable. If only part of the warrants presented on the same day are payable, the county treasurer shall designate the payable warrants in the notice.
