20-331.01 - Political subdivision employees; risk management consultant licenses; application of other laws 20-331.01. Political subdivision employees; risk management consultant licenses; application of other laws A. An employee of a political subdivision may be licensed as a risk management consultant for the purposes of title 11, chapter 7, article 5 to carry out the provisions of title 11, chapter 7, article 5. The director shall license these employees in the same manner as insurance producers. The director may waive the examination requirement for a license issued pursuant to this section. The license automatically expires when the employee terminates employment with the political subdivision. B. To the extent not inconsistent with this article, sections 20-281, 20-284 and 20-285, section 20-286, subsections B, C and D, section 20-288, subsection B and sections 20-289, 20-289.01, 20-290, 20-291, 20-292, 20-295, 20-296, 20-297, 20-298, 20-299, 20-301 and 20-302 apply to risk management consultants.
