3-121 - Smith-Lever act accepted; authority of board of regents 3-121 . Smith-Lever act accepted; authority of board of regents A. The assent of the state is given to the provisions and requirements of an act of Congress entitled "An act to provide for cooperative agricultural extension work between the agricultural colleges in the several states," known as the Smith-Lever act. B. The board of regents of the universities and state college of Arizona is authorized and empowered to receive the grants of money appropriated under that act, and to organize and conduct agricultural extension work in connection with the college of agriculture of the university of Arizona in accordance with the terms and conditions expressed in the act.
