3-520 - Wrongful performance of duty by inspector; improper influence; classification 3-520 . Wrongful performance of duty by inspector; improper influence; classification A. An inspector is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor who: 1. Knowingly makes a wrong or improper inspection of a fruit or vegetable product. 2. Knowingly and improperly certifies that the grade, quality or condition of a fruit or vegetable product does or does not conform to the standards established under this article. 3. Knowingly fails to request the proper authorities to bring an action to prosecute violators of this article or rules adopted pursuant to this article. 4. Knowingly accepts money or other consideration directly or indirectly for an improper performance of his duty. B. Any person who knowingly and improperly influences an inspector in the performance of his duty is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor.
