32-4228 - Massage therapy schools; recognition 32-4228. Massage therapy schools; recognition A. The board shall recognize a school of massage therapy located in this state if it is approved by the state board for private postsecondary education, is accredited to offer massage therapy education by an agency recognized by the secretary of the United States department of education or is a career technical education district program that is offered by a career technical education district as defined in section 15-391. B. The board shall recognize a school of massage therapy located in another state or a Canadian province if it is accredited or approved by an agency similar to the state board for private postsecondary education or it is accredited to offer massage therapy education by an agency recognized by the secretary of the United States department of education. C. Each school of massage therapy that is located in this state and that receives approval from the state board for private postsecondary education shall report to the board of massage therapy: 1. The physical address of the school and each instructional facility maintained or operated by the school. 2. All faculty and instructional staff, and all additions to or deletions from the faculty and staff. D. The board shall maintain a list of recognized schools.
