32-4304 - Occupational and professional licenses; websites; reporting; definition 32-4304. Occupational and professional licenses; websites; reporting; definition A. A regulating entity that issues occupational or professional licenses shall: 1. Prominently post on its website home page all current state policies that ease licensing burdens and the exact steps applicants must complete to receive their license using such policies. Policies that ease licensing burdens include the following: (a) Universal recognition of out-of-state licenses. (b) Availability of temporary licenses. (c) Fee waivers. (d) Examination exemptions. (e) Allowing an applicant to substitute military education or experience for licensing requirements. 2. Have a designated area on its website home page that includes licensing information specifically for military spouses, active duty service members and veterans and all policies that make it easier for the applicant groups to receive a license. 3. Display all information required by paragraphs 1 and 2 of this subsection in a location that is easy to locate and shall use language that is clear and concise. A website home page feature may link to an internal webpage with more information if a regulating entity deems it necessary. 4. Beginning July 1, 2022, track whether each applicant is a veteran or military spouse and shall annually report the information gathered pursuant to this paragraph to the governor. B. For the purposes of this section, "regulating entity": 1. Means all executive departments, agencies and offices and all state boards and commissions. 2. Does not include: (a) A state agency that is headed by a single elected state official. (b) The corporation commission. (c) Any board or commission established by ballot measure at or after the November 1998 general election. (d) The judiciary.
