41-905 - Credit transfers for intra institutional sales 41-905 . Credit transfers for intra-institutional sales A. When an institution maintained wholly by the state sells agricultural products, goods, wares or merchandise produced, manufactured or prepared by its inmates or wards to another institution for use therein or by the inmates or wards therein, the institution making the sale shall be reimbursed through a credit transfer for the cost, which shall not exceed the price in the open market of the products, goods, wares or merchandise. B. The superintendent or managing head of the institution making the sale shall prepare a claim against the purchasing institution, and the claim, when approved by the proper officer of the purchasing institution and by the governor, shall be presented to the department of administration and audited as other claims. If the department of administration finds the claim valid, it shall charge the amount thereof to the appropriate fund of the institution against which it is drawn, and shall credit the appropriate fund of the institution presenting the claim.
