45-351 - Watershed improvement program; purpose; projects; funding 45-351 . Watershed improvement program; purpose; projects; funding A. The watershed improvement program is established in the department under the authority of the director for the purpose of selective control, reduction or removal of noxious brush and other vegetation and for the revegetation of land on which brush and vegetation has been controlled, reduced or removed. B. The watershed improvement program may provide funding for projects that are designed to control, reduce or remove brush from a watershed or a portion of a watershed, consistent with the purposes of the program. C. Any person, organization or political subdivision is eligible to apply for project funding from the program. D. The watershed improvement program shall be funded from any monies made available for that purpose from the Arizona water protection fund established by section 45-2111, from any monies made available for that purpose from the department and from any other monies received by the program.
