8-1174 - Program and grantee accountability 8-1174. Program and grantee accountability (Caution:Â 1998 Prop. 105 applies) A. Within 45 days of the end of the program funding or grant period, all regional partnership councils conducting programs directly and all grant recipients must provide the following information in a form prescribed by the board: 1. A description of the use of funds. 2. The number of children and families served by the program. 3. The percentage of children and families served by the program whose family incomes are no more than 100 percent of the federal poverty guidelines as defined by section 46-801(9). 4. A detailed accounting of funds. 5. An assessment of the success of the program in meeting the identified objectives and obtaining outcomes for children using the measures described in the program or grant application pursuant to section 8-1172. B. Regional grant recipients shall provide the required information to the regional partnership council in their region; the regional partnership council shall forward that information to the board. Â State grant recipients and regional partnership councils conducting programs directly shall provide the required information directly to the board. C. The board may, at its discretion, request additional information from regional partnership councils or grant recipients about the funded programs. Â In addition, all regional partnership council program records and grantee records, including financial records, are subject to review by the board at its discretion at any time during the period that funding is provided and for five years after the funding or grant period has ended. D. Regional partnership council programs and grant recipients are subject to an independent audit at the discretion of the board at any time during the period funding is provided and for five years after the funding or grant period has ended.
