Florida Statutes § 782.36 — Exceptions.

This section lists exceptions: it protects a patient from prosecution for a partial-birth-abortion procedure, excludes suction or sharp curettage abortion from the act, and allows a physician to take necessary measures to save a mother’s life in an emergency if reasonable precautions are taken for the fetus.
