Florida Statutes § 404.081 — Records.

404.081 Records.—(1) The department is authorized to require each person who possesses or uses a source of ionizing radiation to:(a) Maintain appropriate records relating to its receipt, storage, use, transfer, generation, treatment, or disposal and maintain such other records as the department may require, subject to such exemptions as may be provided by rule, and to use existing data reporting systems when possible. (b) Maintain appropriate records showing the radiation exposure of all individuals for whom personnel monitoring may be required by the department, subject to such exemptions as may be provided by rule. Copies of all records required to be kept by this subsection shall be submitted to the department or its duly authorized agents upon request. (2) The department is authorized to require that any person possessing or using a source of ionizing radiation, at the request of any employee for whom personnel monitoring is required, furnish to such employee a copy of such employee’s personnel exposure record annually, upon termination of employment, and at any time such employee has received excessive exposure.
