Florida Statutes § 79.08 — Hearing and judgment.
A judge must promptly examine why a prisoner is being held and then decide whether to discharge, bail, or remand the prisoner. The judge also must decide who pays costs and transportation charges, and the clerk must issue execution for any awarded costs and charges.
