Florida Statutes § 918.03 — Procedure when offense committed outside state.
If an offense was charged as committed outside Florida, the court may discharge the defendant, direct the clerk to notify the other state’s chief executive, or hold the defendant in custody or on bail while waiting for extradition paperwork.
