HRS § 431M-2 - Policy coverage
Certain health insurance and health plan contracts must cover alcohol use disorder, substance use disorder, and mental health treatment services, and they cannot impose stricter financial or treatment limits than those applied to medical and surgical benefits, subject to a limited-coverage exception.
