HRS § 514B-97.5 - Prohibitions
After signing an owner-occupant affidavit, a person generally cannot sell, lease, rent, assign, or convey the unit for 365 days after purchase recordation, unless the person still lives there as a principal residence and transfers it to a trust for estate planning.
