Iowa Code § 260C.67 - Alternative method

This subchapter shall be construed as providing an alternative and independent method for carrying out any project at any institution under the control of a community college board of directors, for the issuance and sale or exchange of bonds or notes in connection with a project and for refunding bonds or notes pertinent to the project, without reference to any other statute, and shall not be construed as an amendment of or subject to the provisions of any other law, and no publication of any notice, whether under section 73A.12 or otherwise, and no other or further proceeding in respect to the issuance or sale or exchange of bonds or notes under this subchapter, shall be required except as prescribed by this subchapter, any provisions of other statutes of the state to the contrary notwithstanding. 90 Acts, ch 1253, §69 C91, §280A.67 C93, §260C.67 94 Acts, ch 1023, §98; 2014 Acts, ch 1026, §143
