Iowa Code § 481A.131 - Judgment — execution
If someone is convicted of unlawfully taking or possessing certain wildlife, the court must enter a judgment for liquidated damages; the clerk must forward paid damages to the natural resources department, and return of an uninjured animal can discharge the damages.
