Iowa Code § 508.2 - Articles — approval — bylaws
A company must file its articles of incorporation, and any later amendments, with the commissioner of insurance before filing them with the secretary of state. It must also file bylaws and bylaw amendments with the commissioner within 30 days after adoption.
