Iowa Code § 514B.3A - Articles — approval — bylaws
A corporation must file its articles of incorporation, and any amendments, with the commissioner of insurance and get approval before filing with the secretary of state. It must also file bylaws and bylaw amendments with the commissioner within 30 days of adoption.
