Iowa Code § 515.51 - Policies — execution — requirements
Insurance policies other than surety bonds may be issued with or without the company seal, but they must be signed and attested as required; group motor vehicle and group homeowners policies cannot be written or delivered in the state unless they are individual policy or contract forms.
