Iowa Code § 631.12 - Entry of judgment — setting aside default judgment
The clerk must immediately enter the judgment in the small claims docket and district court lien book. The court may order installment payments, and if it does, execution is paused while payments are made and the judgment is not enforceable until an affidavit of default is filed. A defendant may also move to set aside
