75-3363. Conveyance of certain land in Shawnee county to the city of Topeka authorized; deed conveying land. (a) The secretary of social and rehabilitation services is hereby authorized to convey, without consideration, to the city of Topeka, Kansas, the following described state property located in Shawnee county, Kansas: A tract of land in the northwest quarter of section 11, township 12 south, range 15 east of the 6th principal meridian in the city of Topeka, Shawnee county, Kansas, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of such northwest quarter; thence west along the north line of such quarter section a distance of 1,017.1 feet; thence south along the west property line a distance of 30.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence south along such west line a distance of 25.00 feet; thence east parallel to and 55.00 feet south of the north line of such quarter section to a point on the east line; thence north along such east line for a distance of 25.00 feet; thence west to the point of beginning, containing 0.58 acre of land, more or less. (b) The deed conveying the above described land shall be approved by the attorney general and shall be executed by the secretary of social and rehabilitation services. Such deed shall provide that in the event the above-described land is not used for the purpose of widening southwest 21st street in the city of Topeka, Kansas, then all right, title and interest in such land shall revert to the state of Kansas. The conveyance of land authorized by this section shall not be subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 75-3043a and amendments thereto. History: L. 1991, ch. 252, § 1; July 1.
