Kansas Statutes § 65-5a01 Definitions.

65-5a01. Definitions. As used in this act: (a) "A child with special health care needs" means a person under 21 years of age who has an organic disease, defect or condition which may hinder the achievement of normal physical growth and development. (b) "Services for children with special health care needs" means the program administered by the secretary of health and environment pursuant to article 5a of chapter 65 of Kansas Statutes Annotated and acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto. (c) "Physician" means any person licensed by the state board of healing arts to practice medicine and surgery. (d) "Special health services" means services for children with special health care needs.
