KRS § 509.050 Exemption.
A person may not be convicted of certain unlawful imprisonment or kidnapping charges when the restraint is immediately incidental to another offense outside this chapter, unless it goes beyond what is ordinarily incidental; the exemption does not apply to kidnapping charges tied to criminal escape.
