KRS § 156.445 Only state-approved instructional material or program to be used as core comprehensive resource -- Exceptions -- When changes to be effective -- Approval of materials for private and parochial schools.

Public schools in Kentucky may not use certain instructional materials as core comprehensive resources unless they are state-approved or the district gives the required notification; district superintendents must send that notification when adopting non-approved materials.
