About this statute
Public high schools must offer students a chance to enroll in available vocational and technical courses, and must provide TOPS-Tech Early Start Award information. If a school does not offer those courses or its mission does not fit them, the governing authority may partner with other schools or seek a waiver. Students cannot be charged a course fee when the local education agency receives the listed career development funds for that course.
