§2822. Eligibility for scholarship Any United States citizen and resident of the state of Louisiana for a period of not less than five years prior to the date of his application who is admitted to or is engaged in the study of chiropractic at a chiropractic college approved by the Louisiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners and who meets the requirements and academic standards approved by the Louisiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners for admission to a chiropractic college and who intends to practice chiropractic in the state of Louisiana shall be eligible to apply to the Louisiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners for a scholarship in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter. Such application shall be in writing and in such form as the board may require. It shall contain the written statement of the applicant that he intends to practice chiropractic in the state of Louisiana, if he is selected to receive a scholarship. Added by Acts 1978, No. 705, §1.
