§311. Expenses of delegates; contribution to interstate and national association The boards of commissioners of the levee districts and levee and drainage districts may make appropriations to cover the expenses of delegates to the meetings of the Mississippi River Commission and other interstate and national bodies and contribute funds to the support and maintenance of any interstate and national associations which in the judgment of the levee boards and levee and drainage boards may seem most expedient for advancing the levee interests. No board of commissioners shall appropriate during any one year for this purpose an amount larger than five thousand dollars. Acts 1985, No. 785, §1, eff. July 22, 1985.
