§212. Forest products, false statement prohibited; penalty A. No person, in the course of a sale, attempted sale, delivery, removal, or other completed or attempted transaction involving forest products, shall willfully or knowingly make a false statement or cause a false statement to be made with regard to ownership or ownership interest of the forest products, with regard to ownership or ownership interest or tract name of the land where the forest products were harvested, or with regard to location of the land and property description of the land where the forest products were harvested. B. Whoever violates this Section shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both. Acts 1997, No. 108, §1; Acts 2003, No. 107, §1.
