§4622. Effective period; rank; sequestration The privileges conferred by R.S. 9:4621 are effective for a period of ninety days from the maturity of the debt, are concurrent, and may be enforced by the writ of sequestration, without the necessity of furnishing security therefor. These privileges have no effect against a bona fide purchaser to whom possession has been delivered and who has paid the purchase price without previous notice of the existence of the privilege. In no event shall the seizing officer seize more than is sufficient to satisfy the claim and all probable costs. Amended by Acts 1960, No. 31, §1; eff. Jan. 1, 1961.
