§3108. Violations; revocation of license A. The commissioner may revoke the license of any person violating any provision of this Part. B. The commissioner may impose a civil penalty of up to one thousand dollars for each violation of this Part or of the rules and regulations adopted under this Part. Each day on which a violation occurs shall be a separate offense. C. Civil penalties may be assessed only by a ruling of the commissioner based on an adjudicatory hearing held in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. D. The commissioner may institute civil proceedings to enforce his ruling in the district court for the parish in which the violation occurred.
